‘The only way to perceive oneself is to have two heads’ is the answer from the contemporary artist and fine art printer, Theodore Ereira-Guyer, to his quest for identity, connection and perception. To him, art is a mediator to establish a relationship with the world.

Artist Profile

Theodore Ereira-Guyer's practice switches between print, sculpture and photography. He is currently undertaking a PhD in Contemporary Art at the Colégio das Artes at University of Coimbra in Portugal. He studied at Central Saint Martins, Norwich University of Art and the Royal College of Art in London.

Ereira-Guyer has exhibited internationally with exhibitions and residencies throughout the UK, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Brazil, China, and Jordan amongst others. His work is held in private and public collections throughout the world including the MoMA, TATE, Victoria and Albert Museum and the British Museum. He was the recipient of the Helen Chadwick Award for multidisciplinary artists.

He currently works and lives between London and Lisbon.
